Marianne Moland

Marianne embarked on her first basic yoga course in the early 90’s, and yoga has become a natural part of her every day life. It was Kristin Skotnes Vikjord who inspired her and made her want to try yoga. She searched for courses online and attended her first class at Bodø School of Yoga. Since then she has taken classes with among others Katrine Berge and Silje Fredheim, both certified Integral Hatha Yoga teachers.

The more yoga Marianne has practised, the more familiar she has become with the amazing effects on her body and soul. Throughout the years, she has participated in courses and workshops whenever she’s had the opportunity, and her profound wish to go deeper into the power of yoga has only gotten stronger the more she has practised.

For a number of years, she had been wanting to do her yoga teacher training in order to convey this knowledge to others. In 2012, she left for Virginia, USA and did the teacher training to become an Integral Hatha Yoga teacher at the Satchidananda Ashram. Marianne is a registered RYT 200 at IYTA (Integral Yoga Teacher`s Association).

In addition Marianne has done further training as a yoga therapist, and a course to enable her to communicate yoga to children. She has her own company called Heart Yoga, and she teaches at Balansen in Bodø.

Vinyasa Flow

Timen er satt sammen med tanke på å gi en helhetlig innvirkning på kropp og sinn. Yogastillingene varierer fra enkle og skånsomme øvelser til øvelser som krever noe mer styrke og utholdenhet. Dette er en oppløftende og fysisk time med fokus på flyt (Vinyasa) med myke overganger fra øvelse til øvelse.

Du vil gjennom timen oppleve å få en dypere og friere pust, noe som gir deg mer overskudd og energi. Timen avsluttes med avspenning som får deg til å slappe av og styrker kroppskontakten slik at du føler deg mer hjemme i deg selv.

Praksis:

Yoga på moloen

Dersom været tillater det vil Marianne lede oss gjennom en herlig yogaøkt ute på vakre moloen utenfor festivalhotellet. Se frem til asanas, pusteøvelser, mindfulness og kanskje en mindful vandring på moloen.
